DRONE TERROR IN UKRAINE: New Zealand Ambulance Attacked During Evacuation now on Display in Central Kyiv

‘Aroha', one of two New Zealand ambulances attacked by Russian drones this year, is now on display in central Kyiv as a stark reminder of war crimes committed against civilians and humanitarian organisations.

‘Aroha’, meaning love, is one of 38 decommissioned ambulances, all named in Te Reo Māori, and delivered into service in Ukraine by Kiwi K.A.R.E, and one of two attacked by Russian drones near the frontlines since June.

While Aroha is write-off and not economic to repair, ‘Kaha’, meaning strength, remains under assessment after being attacked by a drone in the Donetsk region.

Meantime we have replaced the ambulances thanks to your incredible support - more on that soon. We receive many hundreds of requests for evacuations weekly and we do our utmost to reach those most vulnerable.

Thank you, one and all, for your continued support and encouragement.
